Cardio style workout including floor work (MSE = Muscular, Strength & Endurance) or upstanding body conditioning – different styles of workout to include General Aerobics, Boxercise, Interval Training, Boot Camp & Salsa..
Please Note: Routines will change every 3/4 weeks. I welcome any Music requests so please let me know if there is a specific piece you would like to work out to.
Q. What happens in class & do I have to exercise?
A. Each class involves a weigh-in, slimmer of the week and 45 minutes of exercise It isn’t compulsory to exercise but just think of the extra calories you can burn! I will email you a talk topic each week to encourage you towards healthy eating/motivation.
Q. I’ve never exercised before, will I be able to do it?
A. I am a qualified instructor to teach exercise classes to suit all ages and abilities as is my Cover Teacher Gail who covers me for holiday & sickness . Work at your own pace but if you have any worries or concerns about the class, please talk to your instructor and we can soon adapt the exercises to best suit your needs.
Q. Can I attend extra classes for the exercise?
A. We would always encourage you to do more exercise. You will get fitter quicker and meet even more like-minded people by doing extra exercise at the other classes.
Q. What if I can’t make my usual class?
A. You can come and weigh at any other class in the club, just show the cashier your membership card to be entered on to the class register.
Q. Do I have to pay if I miss a class?
A. You can have 3 weeks holiday, pre-booked on your members card each year FREE and 2 weeks at Christmas. If you miss a class all I ask is that you contribute £3.00 towards the cost of running the classes and to keep your place. If you miss 2 or more classes, you will need to re-join. There is a £6.25 rejoin class fee to pay. Join Premier or Senior Plus+ and you can have as many holidays as you like with no missed class fees. The 3 weeks holiday and 2 weeks at Christmas are already incorporated within the Premier, and Senior Plus+ price.
Q. What do I have to bring to class?
A. Wear comfortable clothing; most people wear leggings, T-shirt and trainers. Bring a bottle of water, towel and exercise mat if you have one. There are some mats in some classes, but best to bring your own in case the venue hasn’t any. Exercising in bare feet is NOT ALLOWED for safety reasons.
Q. Can I bring my children to class?
A. We cater for all ages and abilities, but unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 10 years in class.
